Affiliate information

I am an affiliate. What does that mean? It means that if you click a link on my website and purchase a course or Amazon product, that I will get a percentage of that sale.

Why do you care? Well, I think you should care because it has the potential to make me recommend something because I want to make money off of it rather than recommending it because it is the best.

I hold myself responsible and want you to hold me responsible to this oath: I, Susan DuPont, author and owner of this blog, will NEVER recommend something that I don’t know about, believe in, or have personally tried.

I am an affiliate for FreshRN and her crash courses. Kati and I met in 2015 when we both worked for NRSNG as content editors. We worked side by side to create the NRSNG academy and build the blog, produce podcasts, write SIMCLEX, as well as create video content. During that time, I got to know Kati and grew a mad respect for her and her knowledge. She encompasses everything I believe the nursing profession should be and can be. She sets her new grads up for success, is a positive influencer in the nursing community, and is knowledgeable yet humble. I took her Neuro Nurse Crash Course (That is an affiliate link y’all) and learned so much. She was a Neuro ICU nurse for years so her viewpoints opened my eyes as an ER nurse. I chose to be an affiliate because the course was phenomenal.

In September 2018, Kati approached me about helping her write her Cardiac Nurse Crash Course (Guess what? This link is an affiliate link too!) And I think the content in this course is friggin mindblowing. I wrote it, Kati wrote it, and John Russell wrote it. So I can most definitely say that I recommend this course.

Speaking of John Russell… This guy owns Skills on Point LLC. He has a lot of letters after his name, no big deal. Officially his name reads John Russell, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, CCRN, RNFA. He is a cardiovascular First Assistant nurse in the OR. I cannot think of someone more qualified to write a course on the heart than this guy and I got to work with him on the Cardiac Nurse Crash Course. He has an impressive list of courses his company offers and I get to be an affiliate for this heart fixin’ suture sewin’ fool. Can I get a Heck Yes?!?!

So what I am trying to tell you all is that I recommend these people. They are good people. I like them a lot. Follow them on their Social Media and buy their courses… through my link (of course) to support me so I have more time to write more content for you all and can spend less time picking up over time shifts at the hospital.

You can find the links to all my affiliate stuff on the right-hand side of every page or blog post on this site.
